Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

These Peanut Butter Balls have a chocolate coating and a creamy peanut butter filling. Five simple ingredients make this recipe incredibly easy!


SERVINGS: 36 PEANUT BUTTER BALLS – 1 cup (250 grams) creamy peanut butter – 6 tablespoons (85 grams) unsalted butter softened to room temperature – 2 cups (240 grams) powdered sugar – 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – 1/8 teaspoon salt – 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate 


Use parchment on a large baking sheet. Set aside. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter and butter with a handheld mixer. Mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt, scraping bowl sides, until combined.

Spoon peanut butter mixture into balls and place on baking sheet using a one-tonner measuring spoon or cookie scoop. Place the peanut butter ball baking sheet in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Place chopped chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Stir well after each 20-30 second microwave increment until smooth and melted. Remove the peanut butter ball baking sheet from the freezer.

Dip each peanut butter ball in melted chocolate and return to the baking sheet. After coating all the peanut butter balls in chocolate, refrigerate the baking sheet for 45–60 minutes to harden the chocolate.
