Nutella Brownies Recipe

These Nutella brownies are my new favorite—chewy outside and fudgy inside! Even better, they only require eight ingredients.

– ½ cup (115 grams) unsalted butter (sliced into tablespoon-sized pieces) – 4 ounces (113 grams) semi-sweet chocolate (chopped) – ¾ cup (150 grams) granulated sugar – ¾ cup (225 grams) Nutella (divided) – 2 large eggs (room temperature) – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – ¾ cup (95 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled) – ¼ teaspoon salt

Direction

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Give an 8-inch square baking pan an overhang of aluminum foil for easy removal. Set aside the foil after spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.

1

Mix sliced butter and chopped semi-sweet chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl. After each 30-second microwave increment, carefully stir the mixture until smooth and melted.

2

Mix granulated sugar completely, then add ½ cup (150 grams) Nutella and mix thoroughly. Add eggs and pure vanilla essence and stir well. Stir in flour and salt until barely mixed.

3

Spread the batter evenly in the baking pan. Add the remaining ¼ cup (75 grams) Nutella to a small microwave-safe bowl. Stir for 10–15 seconds in microwave until smooth.

4

Knife-mix 9 spoonfuls of Nutella into brownie batter. Bake brownies until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 32–38 minutes.

5

Let the pan cool completely after removing from the oven. Use the foil overhang to pull the bars from the pan and slice.
