Mixed Berry Crisp Recipe

An easy mixed berry crisp made with frozen berries for year-round enjoyment. This crisp tastes great with a big scoop of ice cream!

INGREDIENTS 

SERVINGS: 6 SERVINGS FOR THE TOPPING: – 1/2 cup (65 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled) – 3/4 cup (150 grams) brown sugar – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup (115 grams) cold unsalted butter , cubed into small piece – 1 cup (100 grams) old-fashioned rolled oat FOR THE FILLING: – 5 cups (700 grams) mixed berries , frozen or fresh – 1/3 cup (65 grams) granulated sugar – 1/4 cup (31 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)

INSTRUCTIONS

Warm the oven up to 350°F. Spray cooking spray that doesn't stick on a 9-inch round pie plate and set it aside.

Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Add the cold cubed butter and cut into pea-sized crumbs with a pastry cutter or two forks. Mix in rolled oats and set aside.

Mix the berries, sugar, and flour in a large bowl until coated. Fill the pie plate with the mixture and spread it evenly. Top the fruit evenly with topping.

Bake 40–45 minutes at 350°F until the filling is bubbly and the topping is lightly golden brown. Cool on a wire rack after removing from the oven before serving.
