Matcha Crepes Recipe

Dessert with breakfast is a treat. Crepes may be the finest morning dessert. Fill a light French pancake with chocolate, cream, or fruit? Would you want more?

Ingredient

– 1 cup all-purpose flour – 3 tablespoons sugar – 1 ½ tablespoons matcha green tea powder – ¼ teaspoon salt – 2 large eggs, room temperature – 1 cup milk, warmed – ½ teaspoon vanilla extract – 3 tablespoons melted butter – ¼ cup water – 2 tablespoons clarified butter or cooking oil, for cooking

Direction

Mix flour, sugar, matcha powder, salt, eggs, milk, vanilla, melted butter, and water in a large basin until smooth and thin.

Push batter through a fine mesh screen if matcha powder clumps.

The batter may rest at room temperature for 30 minutes or refrigerate for two days.

To create crepes, heat an 8-inch pan over medium heat. After heating, add ½ teaspoon of clarified butter or oil to the pan.

Add ¼ cup of batter to the skillet and turn it in a circular motion to evenly coat the surface.

After the batter is mostly set, turn it and fry until golden brown on the second side, adjusting the heat to ensure golden spots but not brown.

Do it again with the rest of the batter, and if you need to, add more butter between each pancake.

While cooking, stack crepes on a plate and cover with a cloth for warmth.Fill and roll crepes with your preferred toppings after cooking.

 Mix ¼ cup vanilla Greek yoghurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 teaspoon matcha powder till smooth for filling.Serve now.
