Homemade Fig Jam (With Dried Figs) Recipe

If you've ever made jam, you know that a few ingredients can make a tasty spread that lasts longer than fresh fruit. Jam-making preserves in-season food flavours for months. 

Ingredient

– 2 pounds dried fig – 2 cups sugar – ¼ cup lemon juice – ⅓ cup water

Direction

Mix figs and sugar in a big pot.Mix lemon juice and water. Over medium heat, boil.

Bring the heat down to a simmer. Let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes, until it gets thicker.
